Juan Pablo turned 7 on March 12 and, as posted earlier, Solanus' birthday is on the 9th, and our friend Daniel S. has his birthday on March 13! So that means a joint party! It's great for us moms...share the work and the cost and enjoy an afternoon of fun together with all our mutual friends.
We had it out at the park, grilled up some hot dogs with all the fixings and sides, had a Scripture Scavenger Hunt, and another home-made pinata.

Here's the batting line-up:
Daniel stands proudly with his beautiful creation...well, he made the frame and the kids and I put the colored paper on it, so it was a lovely joint effort started at about 10am the morning of. We like to work under pressure. We had some hard swingers among the little gals.
Little Daniel takes a running hit.Juan Pablo got a bit frustrated with the man behind the rope (aka "Dad") when the butterfly came flying at him and down on his head a few times. I had to give Daniel the "Come on. Do you have to beat your kid up with the pinata and make him cry on his birthday?" look.
The birthday boys before the cake.
