Juan Pablo's solution

At dinner last night...

Emmanuel was having a major breakdown because he didn't want to eat the yummy homemade chicken soup I made and instead wanted to eat cereal for which we didn't have any milk.

After lots and lots of screaming, Juan Pablo turns to Daniel and me and said, "Hey, just give him what he wants."

In the end Emmanuel ate a full bowl of soup. He's just into this tantrum throwing right now...hopefully it stops when he turns three in December.

LOL!! LOL!! LOL!!!

Michelle, I don't believe in the terrible 2's as much as I believe in the terrible 3's!!

But, then again, maybe my kids are just developmentally late and wait until they're older (& bigger & louder & stronger) to exhibit their strong willed personalities.

Gotta love the brothers looking out for each other huh? Glad y'all are safely down south! Prayers for you all from the Larkins! :)

I agree, the terrible 3's tend to be the tough ones. Though, we're seemingly into the terrible 4's now too ;). I guess it's the struggles of learning the personalities and quirks of each child... and what makes them BLOW UP!

And it's really hard as a parent to not just go with JP's suggestion!

Love to you all,
Kristy

Michelle, I am so in your boat right now! I keep hoping and praying that it will all end in November when Francisco turns 3...not really expecting that, but wouldn't it be miraculous!?!? Prayers for you...and I'll offer up the struggle through some tantrums for you too!
