We spent the weekend before last with Daniel's parents and brother, Philip. This was the first I had seen Philip since we were in Texas almost a year ago and therefore since the accident. Daniel was able to visit him while he was still in the hospital. Philip is doing great! He is walking around with a cane...or without it if he feels up to it. He is happy, like usual, but I think, even a bit happier...maybe it was just being around the kids...maybe it was a greater gratefulness for life. Whatever it was, we were all very glad to see him.
