A Reunion of Sorts

On Sunday we had a Honduras Reunion. The occasion was thought up since Kyle was going to be in the area for the month of April on account of his girlfriend being here for med school. Since Patrick and Terry live in New Jersey and friars and sisters live here in the city, I figured we could get enough people to get together to make something of a gathering.

We made Honduran enchiladas, tajadas, frijoles and drank instant horchata and te de jamaica. For dessert, we had homemade chocobananas. Yum, yum.

Here's most of the people who came:
(the rest are all taking pictures, though all but two had been to Honduras also)

Kyle ('04-'05), Daniel ('02,'03-'07), Maria Victoria (only in Honduras en vitro '07), Emmanuel ('06-'07), me ('03-'07), Juan Pablo ('04-'07), Patrick ('04-'05), Clare ('04-'05), Etel (pura catratcha (Honduran))
Missing from picture:
Amber (Mission Honduras, not sure what years? '02-'03?), Rebeca (Pat's girlfriend with whom she visited Honduras in '07), Kate (Kyle's girlfriend), Ana (friend)

Here's a photo of some of the same people from the Feast of St. Francis '04:

Fr. Herald (back in the US but currently on a trip to Columbia), Br. Damiano ( Still in Honduras), Daniel, Juan Pablo (little), me, Patrick (in US working, just started a non-profit to help the Church in Sudan), Carol (still in Honduras), Br. Matteo (still in Honduras), Juan Pablo (big) (in Mexico, a postulant for the Missionary of Charity Fathers), Emily (in NYC as Sr. Maria Theresa, CFR), Br. Seraphim (in England or Ireland?), Kyle (in US doing Popple) , Br. Felix (back in US in seminary), Tony (back in the US, married and in VA), Clare (in VA studying to be a nurse midwife), Br. Nathanael (back in US in seminary)
Terry is taking the picture. She now is back in the US.

Thank you for posting these! It would have been awesome to be at the "Honduras reunion" (though actually being in Honduras again would be even better!)

Grace and peace,
Jose
