The other day while I was starting to wash the dishes and the boys were finishing up lunch:
Juan Pablo: Momma, look, I licked my plate clean.
Me: Great, bring it over here so I can wash it.
Juan Pablo: Why? It's clean.
*You can ask my brothers about their habit of licking the dish “clean” and at times trying to pass it off as a clean plate to be put back on the shelf.
