Yesterday's Live Nativity

Maria Victoria played baby Jesus in the CFR Live Nativity. She did a great job...cried in all the right parts (basically throughout the whole time...enough to traumatize the CFR Sisters' candidate who played Mary. We reassured her that Maria Victoria was fine...she just wants Mama sometimes). The CFRs have been putting this on every year for the last 8 years. I was a volunteer with the Friars the during the second Annual Live Nativity and I had to smile yesterday to see some of the costumes that I helped sew 7 years ago with Br. Ephraim and Br. Maximilian. Afterwards all the kids in the audience go inside the Church to stand in line to recieve a present from Saint Nicholas (one of the friars in full bishop's garb). Juan Pablo helped hand presents to Saint Nick along with some friars and sisters. It was a fun and long day.
This morning we woke up to a "white world" but it was ice, not snow. So our walk to Mass was through slush instead of puffy snow like we had a few weeks ago. I think the boys enjoyed the slush almost as much as the snow.

Oh Michelle!

What lovely pictures!! And what a beautiful scene! I would LOVE to attend something like that. Glad to hear Maria Victoria knew her lines! ;-)
