Fun with the Free Range family

Yesterday we returned from a 2 day visit to Pennsylvannia. We had lots of fun playing with Nathan, Mary Therese, Lucy, and trying to keep little Ben from crying when we look at him. Emily fed us with lots of yummy homemade foods and Mike entertained us with his latest orchestra DVD. Here are a few pics showing off two of their kiddos Christmas presents...the jumpy castle (loads of fun and static) and face/body colors for painting indians (or scary monsters).

Emily, I keep forgetting to tell you that we didn't get sick at all after hanging out with y'all. So there was no passage of sick germs...I never asked Br. Nathanael if he had anything, but I don't think he did. And Daniel wants me to tell you about the wonderful butter he made by putting the raw cream in a glass jar and shaking it until it clumped a bunch and then rinsing it with cold water to firm it up. We can't wait for some more of that yummy milk. :) Talk to you soon.

MMmmmmmm.... butter. That sounds good! I am SO glad you all didn't get sick. So glad! I would have felt a bit badly about that, though obviously the whole thing was rather unavoidable.
Looking forward to seeing you in February.... and I'll bring some more milk. Interestingly, the guy that sells me milk said some guy actually comes down from NYC and buys like, 40 gallons or something, and delivers it in NYC. Apparently he has another supplier in the poconos for the spring and summer months, but comes out here in the winter. I would be curious to find his contact info and just how much he charges (that's alot of gas money!).
