Party with the Pope

Last night we went to some friends' house for a Halloween/All Saints'/All Souls' Day Party. We started getting costumes together at 6pm for the 7pm party.

Emmanuel went as Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati and Juan Pablo went as Papa Juan Pablo Segundo. Maria Victoria and I both went as Our Lady. :)

We had a yummy dinner and prayed the Rosary with the special intentions for the souls of our friends and family that have died. We especially remembered Daniel's aunt Patricia who recently died after a two year battle with a rare cancer. We were fortunate enough to visit with her several times this summer while in Texas.

Wow! Pretty impressive for 1 hour! You had all that stuff lying around? Sounds like a lovely party...Happy All Saints' Day!
Guauuu!!!
that's so Incredible, and so cute.
Como santos verdad, pero la verdad no necesitan usar costume para parecer santo, ya casi lo son.

Okay, I can't take sole credit for the costumes and I'll have to decline the "crafty mama award" as Daniel is actually quite the artist and he made the mitre (pope hat) and colored the decor an the chasible AND fixed up the staff. I just gave him the things and gave orders. I did dress little Pier Giorgio all by myself. :)
