We made it!

We arrived at our new house in NYC on Friday at noon. The trip up was quite good...not sure what I was expecting but besides a few cranky moods when we needed a rest stop or a nap, the kids did great. Daniel drove all but 4 hours of it. We had wonderful hospitality from our friends and absolutely no car problems. Praise God!!!
After unloading our stuff and reparking our car (our street has no parking, but all those around us do and so far we've been able to find spaces easily), we rested a bit and then went exploring. To our very pleasant surprise, we found the library right outside our door and to the left, the grocery store to the right, and a park with two playground areas within a very short walk. Amazing! Juan Pablo already has his own library card with all the NY Public Library priviledges. That's where we are right now since they have wireless internet and we have a laptop.
So far our adventures have included praying outside an abortion clinic at a pray march organized by one of the friars on Saturday, attending the First Profession of Vows Mass for Sr. Francesco, CFR on Sunday, and visiting Most Blessed Sacrament Friary where Daniel will do some work on Monday. In just a bit, we'll go see the sisters new convent where Daniel will also do some work.
So that's that. Thank you for all your prayers.
