Alyson and Brittany came to visit us this week. They are dear friends and favorite playmates of the boys from our time together in Honduras as missionaries. Now we are all living in or near our hometowns trying to put into practice here in the US the life of simplicity among the poor that we lived in Honduras. It was encouraging and fun to hang out with them again.
I took them and the boys to Enchanted Rock, a huge granite rock at a State Park near us. The trek was hot and an adventure with the 3 year old climbing the whole way while we took turns carrying the 17 month old, but we made it to the top and back down for a refreshing dip in the creek which was ended quite abruptly by the discovery of a large snake swimming nearby! Yikes!

El fin de semana pasada vino Joseph a visitar Ave Maria, y parece que va a venir a estudiar el proximo periodo. Estoy muy emocionada por eso. Tengo un compa;ero mas en la mision Ave!!
