Christmas Eve's eve we made some cookies which Juan Pablo couldn't resist helping decorate.
We've not got a Nativity Scene for our family yet, mainly because we figure we'll wait until we're in a more permanent home before doing so. But in a Christmas coloring book that someone (I can't remember who because it was during the crazy time when lots of people were here and giving the boys things all at once) gave Juan Pablo, the last pages were all the figures to color and cut your own Nativity Scene. We put ours on the wall out of the boys' reach. It's a bit plain, but the boys like it. Daniel did all the coloring and cutting while we made cookies.

On Christmas day, Juan Pablo explains the birth of Jesus to Emmanuel. We still need to color and cut the 3 Wise Men before the 6th comes around.
Crazy but true, we went swimming as a family on Christmas afternoon, after morning Mass, breakfast with the friars, family lunch, and before a dinner made by the Missioners for us and some neighbohood families.
(Sorry for the not-so-great photos...I think we've dropped this camera a few too many times.)
