The friars built a hermitage...it's a little cabin with a chapel in it for them to use to go on retreat. The hermitage is a little ways up on a mountain so it has a great view and is out of the city. We have been up there a few times while it was under construction. This photo is from our last visit when it was basically completed. We probably won't go there anymore since it is now almost always occupied by a friar on retreat. Oh, by the way, this is our blog. I tried this once before, but I couldn't figure out how to get photos on it. This time it was really easy, so I guess we'll make a go at it.
